Certain Color For Hydrangea Flowers?

Hello,

I'm going to link a picture of a cake here that I want to copy the flowers of. I was wondering if someone has any idea how to color the gumpaste to achieve that light purple/dark purple color mix on the flowers?

I need to know what colorings to use, and also how to get each of the flowers to be light and dark purple at the same time.

Any ideas or suggestions, anyone?

Color the gumpaste a lighter shade of the color you need.  Then use Petal Dust to color the flowers after they are made. The more dust you apply the deeper the color. Here are links that may be helpful  HTH
