Hello

I am making a graduation cake. The customer wants a damask or chevron border on the bottom tier. I have never done that. I found online that there are silicone molds. The one I found said edible sugar molds. What type of sugar is needed for decor? Also, would it be possible to use fondant with the mold? I am a newbie so I appreciate all the advice!

I'd use a stencil for both of those, not molds.

I've never used a stencil. Are they easier to use? Where's the best place to purchase them?
