How can i make chocolate shards similar to the picture? I love the look of this curved and bent shard.

Are you talking about the big stand up chocolate on the top?  That looks to me more like fondant, modeling choco or gp painted/airbrushed w/a gold/brown but it could be made from chocolate.  Just take some foil, crumple lightly/shape and pour melted choco over, allowing it to set hard, then peel the foil off the back.   I really think you'd be happier using fondant or modeling chocolate.
