Hi, can somebody give me an idea of how much to charge for a 16x16 square cake ( chocolate with raspberry filing and fondant covered ) Nola area ??? It's for a groom, and I have no clue ???? SOS please ...

Thank you, really appreciate your help. Honestly it's hard to give prices when baking for a friend.

If you can get $400, why not $500? Give your friend the same price you would give a customer. Take the time to figure out all your costs including your labor and overhead and what you want your profit to be, that's what you should charge.

Definitely figure out your pricing based on your on expenses and hourly earnings plus profit. We can't throw out a number and have it work for you, you're the one who knows that specifics of your costs and how long it will take you to do the cake.
