Hi guys! Ok so I have a cake to make for March 5th. I am super busy and wanted to see how long before can I butter cream my cake and set it in the refrigerator to be covered in fondant. If I fill and buttercream frost the cake on Wednesday, can I cover with fondant on friday and have the cake be ready for sat? I usually do the buttercream frosting and fondant the same day but I am crunched on my timing. Any tips and help would greatly be appreciated!
Cakes should be b'creamed *just* before adding fondant. You do not frig it between the b'cream & fondant. Yes you can fill & *crumb coat* on Wed, then add a somewhat thin coat of b'cream, then the fondant on Friday.
