What is the best way to get this test tube pouring effect on the cake? I read someone used Jolly Ranchers, but how do I melt them and get them to stay upright like that?

Any advice would really be appreciated!!! Thank you!

I think for this kind of effect some kind of skewer or lollipop stick is used to adhere the candy. If you look closely at the test tube, you can see a bit of white where the green didn't cover. I've melted jolly ranchers on the stove, I would just dip the stick in, let it set, and dip again until I get the effect that I wanted. You could then use a little melted candy to attach it to whatever at one end and stick it in the cake.
