Hello!

I'm making a cake covered entirely in nonpareils except for the top which will have a "2" on it. I'm wondering if anyone has ever made this kind of cake before in advance? I'm wondering if the nonpareils would bleed, especially where the non-sprinkled "2" will be on top.  I do refrigerate my cakes. Thanks!

It depends on the sprinkles you use but for he most part no, there should not be a problem.  Does the cake really need to be friged?  are you delivering it and want it solid - that the reason for frig'ing it?  If it's onnly a single tier, there should be no way for bleeding to get to the upper 2".
