I need to make a cake similar to this. How would you go about the supports for the lid? I have to make a long trip with the cake, so I want to make sure I do it right. Thank you!
I've tried on 2 computers, and CC freezes when I try to attach a picture or link. Sorry! This is the cake I'm referring to:

That's just a separate board that's propped up on the cake. The safest way to travel with it would be to take it in sections and assemble it at the party itself, rather than transporting it assembled.
