Any tips?

Also how many days in advance can I make it?

Sugarveil sucks. Try Cake Lace by Claire Bowman instead!

Hi Aish - There's lots of different ways to work with SugarVeil - the quickest is to oven set so you can have decorations start to finish in minutes: http://sugarveil.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/SugarVeil-Confectioners-Mats.pdf. You can make your decorations in advance and store them between sheets of parchment in a zipped bag, or let them dry completely and re-moisten them to return to flexibility, like this: http://sugarveil.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Dry.pdf. Here are a few other links for you - the drop-down list under the word "Create" at www.sugarveil.com lists tips all along the way of working with SugarVeil, and there are many other techniques and photos at http://sugarveil.com/techniques. For questions at any time, you can pose them on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/sugarveilicing (and check out the new videos there, too, like making a copper bow, for example). Thanks!
