I need help making gelatin bubbles. I'm having trouble getting the gelatin to stick to the balloon.  Thanks

Below are two links leading to tutorials on Cake Central for gelatin bubbles.  I've referred to the first one that sweetflowers posted many times.  It's very helpful.

My guess as to why the gelatin won't stick to the balloon might be that there is too much shortening on the balloons.  There has to be enough to allow it to release when dry, but not so much that the gelatin won't stick.  Sweetflowers recommends putting the shortening on the balloon, then wiping some off.

I've had lots of fun - and lots of frustration - making gelatin bubbles.  They're worth the effort once you get the hang of them.  Good luck.
