So im just wondering...is the border on the bottom of the cake piped? How can i pipe it or which tip do i use for it?

That specific border was made from a silicone mold with fondant.  It can be piped with a plain round tip to make small beads right next to each other.

Bead borders are my favorite.  Elegant and so easy to pipe.  You can do it!
