I have an order for princess themed cupcakes and a cake. I was asked to do a gold crown on each of the cupcakes and gold fondant initials on the cake. Please share how you make or color gold fondant! Thanks!!

I agree with the dusting after the fondant shape is made.  I've tried other things, and it gets "absorbed" into the mix, not to be seen.

I got this at my local cake and candy supply store and have had good luck with it. You brush it on and it tries to a shiny metallic finish. 55bbb2ed32683.jpeg
