Satin Ribbon Or Fondant Ribbon On Bc Wedding Cake?

Hi,
I have a wedding cake next weekend that is all BC. I attached a picture. Should I use real ribbon and cover the back with tape, including the bow, or just use fondant?
I had been planning on using fondant but just read how you can cover the ribbon with tape. I just don't know if I can make a satin ribbon bow like this using real ribbon- fondant yes. :)
