Hi Cakers!

Do any of you happen to know of a tutorial that will show how to make a gumpaste/fondant hawaiian lay??

If not, any suggestions on how I should do it??

I'd use a 5-petal cutter, ball tool on the edges, hole in the middle and then leave them to dry before dusting with different colours and stringing them all together...but you will probably need a LOT!

What do you suggest I use to string them together?

Thank you you for the reply!

The shoestring licorice comes in different colours/flavours such as pale and dark green, red, purple, black and one company - Candy Nation- has  a product called Rainbow Licorice Laces that includes yellow and other colours.

Not to nitpick here, but please spell it properly - - LEI.  The spelling you used indicates . . . . well, other things.
