Just curious...around here I haven't seen a tiered plate and pillar style wedding cake in several years.  Do any of you get orders for this type cake anymore?  Honestly, I'd like to do some more traditional buttercream tiered cakes again.

Hi Jeff,  I have not made a pillared cake for 5 years or more.  The fountains and the stairs cakes had more plastic on them than cake, almost!

Cindi....I certainly remember those.  I really wouldn't want to do those again, but an occasional all-buttercream wedding cake would be a nice change of pace.
