HI,

I am looking for suggestions for attaching the large gumpaste bowl on top of a Stanley Cup cake.

I am trying to keep the visual scale as true as possible and the bowl is rather large.

The cake will have a central support attached to a plywood base with a flange. There will be a large dowel inside a pvc pipe.

My dilemma is how best to reinforce the hole in the bowl and how best to secure it.

Any suggestion are greatly appreciated!
