Does anyone know if sugarveil can be airbrushed? I have a client who wants a white cake with silver sugarveil lace around. Is it possible to airbrush the lace before it goes on the cake?

I have never used sugarveil but have airbrushed the Claire Bowman cake lace, I I've heard you can also  dust the mould with lustre dusts before putting the mix in to colour it but I haven't tried that myself. Claire Bowman does a silver ready mixed cake lace mix  maybe have a look at that, it is a really strong silver colour.

Thanks Roxylee, the client has now changed her mind (again) so it will be white lace at the end. I appreciate your help though.

Hello Claire -

SugarVeil decorations airbrush beautifully any color. Here are a few examples from our Facebook page of metallics using our Brooches Mat (an idea might be a few silver brooches as a nice touch on the white lace). Instructions for painting the mat with luster dust mixed into grain alcohol are here:  https://www.facebook.com/SugarVeilicing/photos/pb.58910664892.-2207520000.1435066771./10152742351164893/?type=3&theater - thank you!
