Hi guys I need help. What's the best frosting to use for an ice cream cake to get a smooth finish? (the kind of cake that's entirely made up of ice cream)

Hi - I've frosted ice cream cakes with whipped cream before and it works great and freezes well.

Whipped cream , or buttercream would be fine . 


I just have to ask is that your gorgeous sable corgi? I used to show and breed pems .

I actually like to use ice cream for that. Toss a pint in my KitchenAid with the paddle for about 30 seconds and it spreads like frosting. Just have to be a little quick with it.
