I have been looking for a small Batman insignia fondant cutter to make Batman cupcakes for my son's bday. I have been able to find tons of cookie cutters online (etsy,etc..), but I noticed that they are all 3D printed. My assumption is that using 3D printing allows the seller to more easily customize items. My question is: Does anyone know if there are safety concerns about the types of plastics used for 3D printing? Are they food safe? Should I even care? Really, I am just using the cutter to cut out a bat so the contact time would be very minimal, no high temperatures or other factors that can increase leaching of chemicals into foods. I have found various information online, but am wondering if anyone has any thoughts or information/resources about this......Thanks
