Hello, I have purchased the Claire Bowman Cake lace mats and mixture. I thought it was very easy to use and is easy to work with. I found that it didn't tear easily so that made it easier when attaching to side of cake. It stays soft and can be made ahead of time and stored in between parchment paper in a zip-lock bag.

The only thing I noticed is the tiny air bubbles after it sets but they are not too visible. I have only made it twice so maybe with more practice the air bubbles can be reduced.

I ordered the mat and lace mixture from Easy Sugar Lace on Etsy.

I have used three different kinds of lace mixes in addition to SugarVeil.  I have had the best results with the Claire Bowman Cake Lace mats and mixture.  I was able to the mixture in any mat without a problem.  In my opinion, it is worth the extra expense.
