I have been asked to make a two tier wedding cake. the bottom tier will be the dummy cake and needs an area for a slice of real cake. the top tier needs to be elevated about 4 inches above the dummy cake for flowers. any suggestions on how to  insert  the tier system into the dummy cake. if I can figure this out I believe figuring out on how to make the spot for the cake to be place will be easy.
