I've never had to freeze/defrost a cake before. I froze 2, 9x13, 1in high cakes this past Monday. I just took it out of freezer and placed in fridge today (Sat @1:00pm). Will it be thawed by tomorrow morning to frost and cover w. fondant? Do I need to leave it out on the counter? Will the texture change much? (One cake is oil based the other butter - Scratch made) Since I've never frozen a cake before, I was worried that it would alter the cake quality.

Your cakes are fine. They'll be fully thawed before you wake up.
