Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right forum for my question, but hopefully someone will be able to advise me. Several of my Wilton icing tips have worn so that the copper underneath the silver metal is visible (outside and inside). Are these tips still safe to use or should I buy new ones? I'm not a professional; I haven't been selling cakes iced with these tips, just fyi lol.

I wouldn't use them anymore. Where I am it's very humid and I go through so much trouble with stuff getting rusty much faster. But what to do? What helps with a new set is to wash them thoroughly and dry IMMEDIATELY, then store them in a zip lock bag or container with a silicon bag.
