This past week I made a cupcake baby carriage, the original designer is  Nanny 1620! Thank you! But I cut out fondant letters with tappits and I glued them on with piping gel to the board. I really wanted to clean it off the foil paper I bought. I used lemon extract and it took the paint off! I was horrified! I really didn't know this foil paper gift wrap would do this! I covered the spot with royal icing flowers with leaves. I will not use this foil again, but is there a way to clean excess piping gel off for a cleaner appearance when gluing? Thanks!

Not really, once it dries it's pretty difficult to remove, You can try a little bit of water on a damp paper towel or something and gently rub it to try to dissolve it, The best thing is to get it off of any visible areas while it's still wet, though.
