Forums or conversations with titles starting in phone numbers and then advertising phone lines in other countries keep popping up on the forum pages. Does anyone 'police' or monitor this site for such spam?

When they re-designed the site a few weeks back they evidently forgot to put the spam filter in...

We have been told that they are currently working to fix the problem... 

Please bear with them and us until this is resolved... We really do have a good site....

I'm glad it is being addressed. It's annoying and a little scary what hackers, spammers, and the like can do. Thanks.

it's been explained that it's not 'a bot' doing this -- it's an individual or an organization that just keeps it up -- the owners hate it too and are writing code to prevent this but it's a complicated process -- there can be no transfer of this ickyness to us because this is an amazon type board so we just have to hang on -- they're hoping to have it resolved by wednesday but i'd cut 'em some slack if it takes longer -- they delete it all the time but the spammers just keep doing more and more --

they are redesigning this new board 'from scratch' and it takes a while
