Given how amazingly creative people are in here, I'm sure that some of you are probably fans of the great man himself and heard about his death today.

It's ridiculous how hard this has hit me, given that I only ever met him a couple of times at book signings, but the guy was amazing, even just in the few minutes I spoke to him and the though of no more books by him, no more Discworld is very hard to take.

So heartbroken right now :(

Has anyone here ever been asked to do a Discworld inspired cake at all? I'd love to see them!

I too was saddened by the passing of Pterry , I am a Discworld tragic and my prized possession is a book personally signed by the great man.  I know exactly where it is so I can save it in case of fire or magical accident.  Sadly I have never been asked to do a discworld cake , but I have one churning around in my head . I could maybe do it for a comp.  The world is just a little less bright and fun today. I will miss him.
