Hi,
I need to bake a half cake for a 6 month old baby. Mostly I will go with 3 layers. Something like this:

I have a question, will the cake sink or fall as it is half. Do I need to support it?

AI think it should be fine to do as you would any other cake. You just have to be really clean on the exposed cut side of the cake - it's really cute!
Is a half birthday a thing now? I know they do it in school for kids who have birthdays in the summer but for babies? Any excuse to celebrate is good :)
