Just out of curiosity, I see a lot of people recommend Jennifer Bratko's Beyond Buttercream recipe book and the Ultimate Butter Cake by Sarah Phillips. Both are paid recipe ebooks. I have the UBC recipe and was wondering if someone who has both can share their thoughts on what the main difference is between the two. The quirks of each recipe (dense, light, good for carving, etc etc). I've also seen Rose Levy's book (The Baking Bible) recommended on here as well if you like baking science.

Here are the links to the books/people I'm talking about:

Ultimate Butter Cake, by Sarah Phillips:

For reference, I have a few recipes that I already like. I'm always looking to add more to my collection though. I thought this might be a helpful reference thread.

Edit: turns out the basic UBC recipe is free, check the link and scroll down. Disclaimer: It may stop being offered for free as a teaser for their premium membership someday. When that happens I will not send you the recipe, either pay $ or Google. :)
