please help lol im trying to make cake balls but wanted to know can i use wiltons gel food coloring into the vanilla candiquik?

If you're using a chocolate-type thing, you need to use oil-based colors.

You can also use Flo Coat from Americolor.  5 parts Flo Coat to 1 part gel color.  The Flo Coat will help the gel colors integrate with the chocolate.

ABut if I'm using vanilla candiquik and I wanna use Orange gel food coloring will it mess up the texture of the candiquik or mess up my cake balls?

I don't think the color will integrate.  Kinda like if you try to mix water and oil.  You're better off using orange color candy melts.
