How Do You Ombre Wafer Paper

AIm making a wedding cake and its covered in Ombre torn wafer paper. How is this done. Thanks for any help

AHey I did my bromeliad cake leaves by mixing vodka and gel colour then wiping it onto the wafer paper with a new clean piece of dishcloth. I guess you could start with a diluted colour first then go darker on subsequent sheets. HTH

AYou would print various sheets of the paper in the tones you want and rip the strips off carefully. Also, bear in mind that if you layer 2 strips of the same colour, the one on top will become darker since colour from the one on the bottom will show through slightly too.
