Hi Ladies,

Will the colour of fondant dissipate if stored in a cool dry box?

It will be stored for about 6 weeks.  It won't be near light.  Do colours change of their own volition with time?  I'm looking at pale blue.  I've heard dark purple can shift close to black if left.

I've had fondant covered dummies and my current one (pink and white) is still the same colour one month on. I've had a pale blue on a dummy for several weeks and it was fine, no significant fading that I could see and it was on our dining room table during all that time. I think purple is the main problem- my purple coloured figure turned blue very shortly after.
