Hi

I have done 4 wedding cakes but have used fondant.   I have someone that wants it iced in buttercream

My question is,  do I ice each tier separately then stack or do I stack then ice?

Need some help

Thank you

Thank you for your help.    I love working with fondant so I haven't had much practice with icing in buttercream.

Yes, I much prefer decorating each tier separately then stacking & adding borders &/or some decoration.

When I see people like Buddy decorate already stacked I wonder how they keep from messing up or getting everything to line up right :)
