Hi All

Can I get some advise on how I can make the lower tier? I think this is hand painted. What do you'll think. I have never tried painting a cake.

AI'd say it´s an edible print. If you zoom on the picture on the right side of the cake, there's something looking like an overlap or a pleat... My guess

That looks like an edible image to me, because when you zoom in, you can see the seam on the right side.  It is wrapped around.  Very cute, though.

AThat's super easy to hand paint, even if it that particular cake has an edible image. Personally, I would cut a stencil out of card stock, lightly airbush it with black to get the outline at least, then paint it in.

AJust google "safari silhouette" or even jungle animal silhouettes. Size them how you want, print out, cut with an Exacto knife, and work from there. If you don't have an airbrush, take a piece of sponge and dab the paint on all around the edge of the stencil, again, just to get the outline nice and sharp, and then paint it in. Easy peasy.

Thanks AZ Couture ! so just to clarify, would I

1 - cover the cake in Yellow fondant,

2 - paint the orange to get the sunset sky

3 - Create animal silhouette stencil, get outline and paint ??

I do have an airbrush, but never tried stencilling :(

This sound easier than I imagined :)

Thank you to everyone who responded! Agree it does look like an edible image. but would love to try and paint ! :)
