Good morning
I'm making a "Coffee Torte" today for my father-in-law. The recipe I have says to cover it with whipped cream, however, I am not a fan of cream-topped cakes and am going to frost it instead.
I'm trying to decide on a flavour that will go with the coffee (there's also whiskey in the cake). I want something that will keep in the fridge for a while as we will definitely not be eating the whole cake today.
Don't want to overdo the coffee, but just can't think of something to go perfectly well with it.....Maybe a nice Vanilla or Cinnamon? Or a caramel-lish kind of thing?
Any ideas?
