Has anyone tried coloring wafer paper with the spray on color out of a can?  I don't have an air brush machine.  If I use the can color I would think I need to go very lightly same as the air brush instructions that I have seen posted.

Hi there! I see you posted this in June, so not sure if this is still helpful but....I have colored sheets of wafer paper with store bought metallic gold spray (wilton I think?) and it worked beautifully. I did this as an alternative to buying gold leaf. Although not as richly gold, it certainly worked. I sprayed the full sheet and let it dry. It warped slightly in parts that  I sprayed it heavily, but once it was dry I left it under a heavy book and it flattened out. I then cut what I needed out of the sheet. Hope that helps - give it try!
