I am making a cake- part made with rice krispies covered with fondant and I was wondering how far in advance that part can be done?  Since no one will be eating that part can I make it 2-3 days in advance? Will the fondant stay on it for that many days?  Thanks for the help

AHello...I'm new to CC and I'm still being moderated (kinda irritating since this is in real time but my responses aren't). I just recently constructed a cake that had a piece that used Rice Krispies covered with fondant. I constructed mine 2-3 days in advance and it was fine. I used a little BC to make sure that the fondant would stay in place the entire time. Like yours, no one was eating that part of the cake. I even had to paint (using a gel icing color) it so that's the main reason why I did it days in advance.

Good luck with everything!
