I am making cupcakes for an end of the School year party. I was thinking of doing rainbow cupcakes with white icing and "popsicles" on top like this here,

But is that too immature for 4th graders? I have NO clue on whats popular with fourth graders now days. I mean I like rainbows and popsicles but the cupcakes arent for me hehe! I am doing this pro bono and just because so there is no certain theme or rules to abide to. Also no allergies.

Any ideas? I only have 3 days to make the cupcakes.

I think they would love it!  4th graders aren't THAT sophisticated.  I have a 7th grader and she and her friends are pretty easily impressed.  Your popsicles are beyond cute and I bet none of them have ever seen anything like them! 

My high school students would gobble those up in a heartbeat!

I've decided to make the pop cupcakes(w a plain vanilla bottom) and grass cupcakes with "ants", like this here..
