Isomalt "glass"?

How do you make "glass" out of isomalt, like the photo of this cake?...

here's instructions for isomalt that by the way should be lightly consumed by only the most healthy due to the bad gastric difficulties given off by the isomalt--there's recipe for sugar mixture too--

 

and if you peruse the other recipes & instructions in that 'hard candy' area of lorann oils you will learn a lot--you'd just pour the mixture onto a silicone mat -- i think you can pour onto foil too--make 'molds' like--haven't done it in a long time--but this is where it started with the sugar pouring --

AHi,I need to make isomalt brooches for a wedding cake and just discovered that my thermometer is dead:( can I melt without one? What is roughly the stage I need to take off burner when ready? Help!!!:-)

AIf you haven't already bought the kind you have to cook, just get some precooked sticks, and all you have to do is melt it.
