Hello Friends.....

This may be a very basic question for you, but not for me.  Am I Not supposed to keep RI in the piping bags overnight?  Should new bags of each color be prepared every day?

Thanks if you can help.

ARoyal icing keeps for a very long time, but it will separate. If you leave it in the bags, you will find a puddle of liquid in the bottom of the bag that will run out and make a mess when you try to pipe with it. All you have to do is squeeze it back into a bowl and mix it up again. I usually store it in the bags because they're easier to stash away than a million bowls covered in Saran Wrap.

Thanks Sassyzan....I have that puddle problem right now, as we speak.  And funny enough, I did JUST what you said, squish out into a bowl, stir, then back into the bag.  It's time consuming, but then again, I guess I should not have waited util 6pm to decide to work on these cookies.

Thanks for your help!
