Hi all.

Ok so I'm doing a Lorax theme for my son's 2nd birthday. I have decided to do chocolate barbaloots (the little bears), and I've bought a chocolate teddy bear mould. I would like to put them on bamboo sticks to stand in a centrepiece. The moulds I bought do not have an allocated space to insert sticks though.

Any suggestions on how I can get the sticks in, either before or after setting the chocolate?

I need help with this asap, as I only have today to make the chocolate bears and time is of the essence :)

Thank you so so much!

Do you have any metal skewers?  I would suggest you use that to bore a hole into the set chocolate, and then put your wooden one in with maybe a little extra melted choc to hold it in place.

Or else just place the bamboo stick along the back of the set chocolate and cover with more melted and tempered chocolate.
