Hi, I would like to know if I can leave a red velvet cake that is filled with cream cheese frosting over night without refrigeration? It will be iced with ganache and covered in fondant. Thanks!

AYou can leave it out only if you used a shelf stable cream cheese frosting! There are several recipes available online. I use Earlene's cream cheese frosting and it is safe to leave out if its made exactly as the recipe states. Good luck!

AThank you! Is the recipe on a sweet side? Does it have more sugar?
