Hi I am making a 3 tier wedding cake but want to use smaller dummy cakes covered in fondant between the real cake so I can insert roses between them both, do I need to insert supports in those as well as the real cakes,

sally.

ANo you don't need supports "in" the dummies, but the real tiers beneath each dummy needs support.

Meaning...that the real tiers need supports in them, to hold the dummy above it. But that dummy then does not need supports for the real cake above it, and so on and so on.
