AI'm just curious to know, if anyone from Seattle, WA knows where to take cake decorating classes. I have looked inton the wilton part 3 and part 4 classes, but there schedules on the weekdays are very hard when you have a child and a full time job. Cookie decorating, does anyone know where and the world you can take these classes at? Is the part 3 and part 4 classes really necessary or is this information that you can learn on your own?
I don't know anything about the Wilton classes (which they give at Michael's), but you could get in touch with 9or go to) Home Cake (in Maple Leaf on Roosevelt). The owner, Griel, knows everything about decorating and suggests people who teach. There are also business cards posted by people who make cakes and some will teach one-on-one or small groups.
Don't be put off by the appearance of the shop. It's tiny and stuffed with thousands of things, but Griel knows where everything is.
AGreat thank you. I have been out there and she does have a wealth of information. I did not even think about going that way. Thanks for the thought.
