AI would like to make a surfboard cake similar to this

My fear is the surfboard cake sliding. Any suggestions on how to angle the front of the surfboard high on a wave without a disaster??? I don't have to have the front of the cake at this high of an angle, but I'd like it at an angle. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

AIt will only need to feed 14, so if the waves provided enough cake, I could perhaps make the surfboard out of something else. The request was a cake that looks like a surfboard.

AI made a cake similar to this and used rat for the wave and cake for surf board. I had about a 4 to 5 inch angle. I used trag glue to secure cake to rot and put 2 popsicle sticks at back of board which I cover with buttercream icing wave at the end so you couldn't see them. Surfboard didn't budge!
