Help Please. What if anything can you use in place of glycerin?  I have a gum paste recipe that I was told was very good and it calls for glucose and glycerin. I thought I could use corn syrup for the glucose with a little vanilla but I don't know what I can do for the glycerin. If anything does anyone have a great gum paste recipe that doesn't use any of these? I live where I have a problem with drying of the paste.  HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

i believe that the glycerin is to give elasticity to the product - as far as i am aware there is not a substitute.

you can get glycerine at Walmart pharmacy on the shelf. Any local drug store should also carry it
