AHi there, what's the best way to achieve perfect polka dots in your gum paste or fondant.... I need to make a bow for a Minnie mouse Cake and I've always liked the look of dots already in your strip of fondant or gum paste but haven't tried to do it yet

Paper hole punch. They come in different sizes.

I use a piping tip with a round opening. I "punch" out holes in rolled out fondant and poke them out with a gum paste tool.
