so fwiw-
- the corn pudding was a big hit w/my husband and was better day old -- and elcee, i halved the butter and i still had to mop it up--thanks for the heads up--
- the petits pots au chocolate was a big hit all the way around--no problem-o --
- then because i thought i blew the soup i made the cheese puffs anyhow--wow those are dang good! highly recommend
K8, I'm making the corn pudding again to take to a pot luck tomorrow. I think I'll just use 1 tbs of butter, enough to coat the baking dish. The chilies are roasting now. House smells wonderful.
Since my pie crust hopelessly shrank, my chocolate peanut butter cream pie became pots du chocolat!
Love cheese puffs!
I know our Turkey day is long over but I made :
Maple bacon brussel sprouts
Creamed kale
and sauted apples, onions, and cabbage in bacon grease (just a little helps flavor it)
hi lynne, man that all sounds good--i've never had cooked kale except for crispy kale chips--i need to try that--a little bacon grease is a very good thing! ;)
hope you are feeling better
(((big hug)))
♥
elcee, good call on roasting your own--was not impressed with the hatch canned ones--
pots au du chocolate for the win!
