Hi!

Have you ever made your own french bread? How did you do it?

I was looking up recipes online and some of them seem quite difficult. I am wondering if I can make regular white bread, like I do everyday, and just bake it differently. I'm just not sure which way to do it.

I just want something easy that will still taste good.

Ahhhh home made breads....   the best book I've ever used, and had for decades is the "Fleischmann's Yeast Best-Ever Breads".

Yeast breads, Loaves, rolls & buns, sweetbreads & coffee cakes, holiday & specialty breads, pizza, & bread machines.

AI make bread all the time. The best thing I ever did was buy some instant yeast. Here is my go to recipe. It's super easy & I've never had it fail http://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/hearth-bread-recipe
