hi everyone can somebody help me please?  i need a recipe for 72 or 75 vanilla cupcakes  and a recipe to make buttercream that will go on 75 or 72 cupcakes?  somebody please help!

godot 74 would be perfect!  im making 72 but i know 72 is a awkward number! so i said 75 >< but it doesnt matter :)

A72 is 6 dozen. Nothing awkward about that number; dozens are what I bake by every day in the bakery. Use a recipe you like and double or triple or quadruple it.

If you don't have a large mixer, you'll need to make at least 2 batches to get that many.  So just take your normal recipe and make it a few times.  Extra buttercream can be stored for later use.  Things are never exact like that.  You can estimate, but it's better to have extra than not enough.

Life just isn't that simple.  Very rarely does anything work out perfectly.

My basic recipe makes 20 mini cheesecakes.  That's right.  You want 24, make another batch.  My cupcakes are usually 18 not 12 not 24.  But it's also just the right amount for a 6" tier.

My double WASC recipe makes 6  1/2 dozen cupcakes.
