AI am looking for ideas or suggestions.

My daughter is getting married early next year. She has 2 children. I am making a Bride's Cake (free reign on design) and a Groom's Cake (UT football related) but I would like to do something special for my 2 grandkids (11 and 6) - something to signify the merging of the two families or something special for them. Any thoughts or suggestions?

AIs there an activity that the kids do with the fiancé that they did not do before he came around? Maybe a cake based on that.

AThanks for the suggestion. There is one thing that links the little one but not the older. Still thinking though.

AAfter trying to find some super creative cake idea I have chosen something simple. Taking to heart the idea of something to tie the two families together, I have decided on a piñata cake covered with multi-colored nonpareils. Of course, there will be candy surprises inside. Three members in each family, two families becoming one.
